IIT Kanpur, an Institute of national importance, Invites applications for following posts:

  • Assistant Physical Education Officer- 01 post
  • Medical Officer – 01 post
  • Security Officer – 01 post
  • Assistant Executive Engineers-: 02 posts
  • Assistant Security Officers – 04 posts
  • Physical Training Instructor – 01 post
  • Junior Superintendents – 04 posts
  • Pre-Primary Teachers (Sports-1 & Music-1) – 02 posts
  • Assistant Coach – 05 posts
  • Junior Assistants – 14 posts  
  • Driver Grade II – 01 post
Mode of Appointments: For the post of Assistant Physical Education Officer, Medical Officer, Security Officer and Assistant Executive Engineers on regular basis, or standard deputation terms, and for all other posts on regular basis/ deputation/ contract basis for 5 years (likely to be confirmed, subject to noteworthy performance). The Institute follows reservation norms as per GOI rules.
Age: For Group-A Posts (Sl. No. 01 to 04) preferably below 50 years, Group-B Posts (Sl. No. 05 to 07) – 25 to 40 years and Group- C Posts (Sl No. 08 to 11) – 18 to 35 years. Relaxation in age would be admissible as per Central Government Rules. Regular employees of IITs who are educationally qualified and otherwise eligible can be considered for the recruitment up to a maximum of 50 years of age.
